Yes, it can do this, you need to setup your APP as usual. Once you have configured UFB and it's working, you can enable the FB events widget.
Dashboard > Facebook > widget pack
Then enable the Events widget. (screenshot 1)
Now go to appearances > widgets.
You should now see a widget for FB events.
Add that to your site. (screenshot 2)
